The Conscious Capitalism Credo

Conscious Capitalism is a way of thinking about capitalism and business that reflects the state of our world today and the innate potential of business to make a positive impact on the world. Conscious businesses are galvanized by higher purposes…They have conscious leaders who are driven by service to the company’s purpose, as well as trusting, authentic, innovative and caring cultures that make working there a source of both personal growth and professional fulfillment. They endeavor to create financial, intellectual, social, cultural, emotional, spiritual, physical and ecological wealth for all their stakeholders…” excerpted, read entire Conscious Capitalism Credo

Higher Purpose

Business should exist for reasons beyond making a profit. Elevating humanity through your business starts with your “WHY”.

Stakeholder Orientation

Recognizing the interdependent nature of stakeholders and creating value for all (customers, employees, investors, communities, the planet, etc.) for a healthy business ecosystem.

Conscious Leadership

A conscious leader understands and embraces the other three tenets and the path they create. They inspire others to follow the same path.

Conscious Culture

The values, principles and practices that underly the social fabric of a business and connect its stakeholders.

Conscious Capitalism Inc.

Conscious Capitalism Inc. was founded by John Mackey (Founder & CEO of Wholefoods) and Raj Sisodia (Distinguised Professor) to support a global community of conscious leaders dedicated to elevating humanity through business. Together they’ve written the Conscious Capitalism Field Guide that is the foundation for the movement and its leaders.
